Ramsgate Butterfly Valley offers a unique opportunity for visitors to view the life cycle of the butterfly, first hand.
Most of the butterflies that you will see flying around in our flight dome have been bred out on the farm. By attending an informative presentation in our breeding center, a better appreciation can be gained for the fragile world of these colorful insects.
Butterflies sense the protection of the flight dome and will generally not fly away from you as they would in the wild.This allows for really close encounters with these lovely creatures and offers the opportunity for that elusive close up photograph.
From the flight dome, you will be able to visit Curious Creatures which is home to some familiar but also some very unusual and fascinating creatures.
Absorb the relaxing atmosphere at Butterfly Valley while learning about one of natures greatest miracles.

Hours
Monday to Saturday - 9.00am to 16.00pm (last tour starts at app. 3pm)
Sundays - 10am to 14.00pm
Entrance fees include an informative half hour slide presentation and a tour through our breeding center as well as a self guided tour through our butterfly flight dome at your leisure. Also included is a visit to curious creatures, which houses unusual creatures such as tarantulas, scorpions, unusual reptiles etc.
